Program for Egyptian students

The project

We open the door to the world for Egyptian students: to Germany. Students with the Egyptian school-leaving certificate Thanaweya Amma are required to complete an FSP course (Feststellungsprüfung) before studying in Germany. We offer two different courses to prepare students for their studies, the T-course for technical courses and the W-course for economics courses.

During this one-year (two-semester) course, students not only learn German, but are also optimally prepared for their future studies. An important prerequisite for starting the FSP course is the achievement of German level B1, for which we prepare students in our language center in Cairo.

As soon as the students have successfully completed the B1 course, they can start their FSP course. The first semester can be completed either at our language center in Cairo or directly in Germany at the Studienkolleg Glauchau. The second semester always takes place in Germany.

Our aim is to pave the way for Egyptian students to receive a high-quality education in Germany and to prepare them for their academic future in the best possible way. We look forward to accompanying and supporting you on your educational journey.

The University of Applied Sciences Zwickau (WHZ) is one of the most renowned universities in Saxony and offers a wide range of practical degree programs with a strong focus on sustainability and mobility, embedded in a network of regional companies and research institutions.

Thanks to its geographical location in the No. 1 automotive city in eastern Germany and its close cooperation with the automotive industry, WHZ offers practical training and first-class research.

Graduates of our preparatory college have excellent prospects of gaining a place at the WHZ and benefit from the close cooperation and personal contact with the university.

Another advantage is that the WHZ is located in the immediate vicinity of the hall of residence, so our graduates can stay there comfortably - without the stress of having to look for new accommodation.

Good to know

Living in Glauchau

There are good transport links from the hall of residence in Glauchau to cities such as Leipzig, Dresden, Zwickau, Chemnitz and Berlin. A bus stop directly in front of our hall of residence provides direct connections to destinations such as Zwickau, Meerane, Chemnitz and the train station. It is only a 10-minute walk from the hall of residence to the Studienkolleg and the classrooms.
